It will reach a top speed of 205 mph in seventh gear and can sprint from zero to 60 in under 2.8 seconds. It can hit 124 mph in 7.2 seconds. (Though some say these numbers are conservative). This incredibly light hypercar boasts ultra-light forged wheels secured by titanium bolts and new ultra-light racing seats. And advances in carbon material technologies trimmed yet more weight from the overall body structure weight. Even the titanium exhaust is 40 percent lighter than a comparable steel system. A lean mean fighting machine, this baby is ready to rumble.

The McLaren 765LT belongs to the Super Series family and, more specifically, to the McLaren Longtail models. This name comes from the changes in the bodywork, which make it longer than the 720S. The 765LT has rear-wheel drive, a 765-horsepower supercharged V8 gasoline engine, and a very large number of modifications.

Another feature of the McLaren 765LT's seven-speed automatic gearbox is that it has has been reworked so that its electronic management now allows more aggressive downshifts. This results in much better performance.
Suspension Controlled
The 765LT's suspension can be controlled by the driver to three positions: Comfort, Sport, and Track. These options assure that it will be as pleasant to drive on the highway as on a windy road, without, of course, sacrificing the racetrack.
From the Track to the Streets
This McLaren’s transmission is automatic. While it is true that not all agree with automatic transmissions in supercars, this one does not at all take away from the performance. Partially due to the fact that its parts are made from a chrome-nickel alloy. This is common in Formula One cars but not in streetcars.
