Motor Trend Magazine Praises The McLaren 570S

Here at indiGO Auto Group, we are thrilled to announce that McLaren’s latest accomplishment has been recognized by Motor Trend magazine. Motor Trend magazine is the largest car magazine in the world and circulates over 1 million copies.  After working diligently year after year, the McLaren brand has won this year’s Best Drivers Car award and competition. The coveted award is not an easy task as contestants come from all over the globe. This is the first time since 2011 that a brand in an elite market segment has been given the title of holding this award. The competition consisted of four countries and twelve sports cars, all being put through acceleration, braking, and handling tests in Fontana, California. The contenders raced on a 4.2-mile stretch of asphalt known as Highway 198. The effective successor of the 12C, the McLaren 570S is less powerful but lighter and quicker in every regard. It’s one-tenth quicker to 60 mph and through the quarter mile, carrying an extra 1.3 mph in the latter. It stacks an extra 0.02 lateral G in steady-state cornering and knocks three-tenths of a second off the figure-eight time. Braking distance drops by 7 feet. The 2016 McLaren 570S took the title of first place in Motor Trend’s testing and made history. indiGO Auto Group is extremely proud to carry such a successful and victorious brand such as McLaren. Just last week, McLaren released a brand new concept at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the world’s highest-profile competitive display of collector’s cars. The new McLaren 570GT by MSO is modern, sleek, and worth much more than a passing glance. Of the model's debut, Paul Mackenzie, McLaren's Executive Director of Special Operations, noted, "This is the second consecutive year that McLaren Special Operations has used the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to demonstrate our capabilities on Sports Series cars. Last year, soon after the launch of the 570S, we showed the 570S ‘by MSO’ which featured the uniquely formulated Mauvine Blue paint finish coupled with a bespoke interior finished in Carbon Black leather with coordinating detailing, carried through from the exterior colour. This year, closely following the reveal of the GT addition to the Sports Series family, we showcase the breadth of McLaren Special Operations personalisation work, this time focussing on bespoke engineering design and components. Three Enviable Interior Features of the McLaren 650S Coupe

The interior of the McLaren 650S Coupe is immaculate. The well-designed features were created for the ultimate driving experience and unparalleled comfort. Take a look at our favorite elements of the car’s bespoke interior. A Steering Wheel for the Racetrack. The 650S has a small steering wheel for matchless control and handling. Its design was wholly inspired by Formula 1 cockpits. It’s simple—with no buttons or controls—and it provides curves and grips that complement hand placement. Integrated Intelligence. Media, communication, and entertainment are available at the touch of a button. For top-of-the-line navigation, an optional IRIS system links to the center console control panel. The Meridian audio system provides crystal-clear surround sound. Active Dynamic Panel. The 675LT Spider Offers Open Top Driving

McLaren's 675LT Spider is a game changer. This vehicle takes the outstanding DNA of the 675LT Coupé, but adds the thrill of open top driving.  The 675LT Spider is Mclaren's fastest convertible that provides drivers with a rush of exhilaration (with the wind through their hair). What could be better for the Rancho Mirage lifestyle? This is where we tell you about the 675LT Spider’s party trick. Up until this point you could mistake (though that’s no bad thing) the 675LT Spider for the 675LT Coupé, because the carbon fibre MonoCell means no additional strengthening is needed in the conversion from hardtop to convertible. Which means there’s a mere 40kg weight difference between the 675LT Spider and the 675LT Coupé, and with an identical chassis configuration, the driving experience is identical. The 675LT's retractable hardtop is one of the main reasons for the weight difference. The hard top quietly puts itself beneath the tonneau cover. This adds a whole new dimension to the driving experience. Want to learn more about the 675LT? Visit McLaren Rancho Mirage!
