The new McLaren GT is so well proportioned and beautifully stunning, it will make you believe in love at first sight. It’s so comfortable, you’ll want to cruise to the ends of the earth, especially since it was engineered for continent-crossing. Pack your bags in its ample front and back luggage bays and step on the gas for the quickest acceleration in its class.

The new McLaren GT is influenced by the proportions of a Grand Tourer. Longer than other McLaren models at almost 4.7m, the profile is refined in its taper and flow. This creates aerodynamic efficiency and more interior space. Changing tradition, it’s mid-engined and built around a strong, lightweight carbon fiber MonoCell II-T chassis, handling like a true McLaren. The pioneering sleek, simple, innovative design gives the new GT beauty and balance, dynamics and performance. The sculpted rear haunches house vital air intakes. The flat underbody helps to generate downforce for amazing high-speed stability, removing the need for drag-inducing body aerodynamics. Starting at $210,000, this new model is powered by a 620-horsepower, 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine, providing supercar performance. It accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds and on to 203mph.

It has HERE® navigation, real-time traffic info, and can be linked to an optional 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system. Creatively hidden-until-lit, six-color ambient lighting and satin metals create an aura of refinement and elegance. An electrochromic panoramic roof provides five levels of shade at your fingertip’s touch.

LEGO McLaren Senna

It’s not long ago that we saw life-size Chevrolet Silverado making headlines which was made entirely with Lego bricks. But that was not the last time Danish toymaker had endeavored into such a thing as they have now ventured with McLaren, the top British sports-car maker, to introduce a similar model of Senna hypercar.

Senna has been fantastic news for Lego fans around the world. What turns out to be the most ambitious and realistic McLaren that LEGO has ever made, this new McLaren Senna has used LEGO elements worth one metric ton. Even though you may not be able to take a drive, you can still get aboard and enjoy the simulation as it hits 208 mph and the vehicle roars into life. You will even be able to operate and enjoy the infotainment system and the working lights on this McLaren’s LEGO.

Is It a Complete LEGO Construction?

There have been secret shifts of the specialist assemblers who worked round the clock to create this full-scale LEGO McLaren. It took almost 5000 hours for this masterpiece to be assembled and it features around half a million distinct components. The latest automotive to have been treated with the LEGO, this supercar is made with 467853 blocks weighing somewhere around 3748 pounds which is significantly more than the actual Senna.

This new Senna comes with complete interior as well as opening doors. One interesting fact is that the Senna uses some interior elements that come all the way from the actual road Senna. Yes, its steering wheel, driver seat, and the pedals are from the actual model while the rest of the interior is made with Lego. In fact, it’s the first time that a LEGO McLaren has incorporated real interior parts in the bit to underline its authenticity. It comes fitted with the original McLaren badges while the Pirelli tires and the wheels are also the same as you would find in the real McLaren Senna. The LEGO McLaren also features removable dihedral doors allowing people to access its cabin easily.

The outside of this new Senna looks great as it combines orange and Victory Gray blocks. The beautiful color combination has been derived from the model Senna which featured in the LEGO’s Speed Champions kits line. The supercar replica also features functional headlights while its tires and the wheels directly come from its production car. However, the calipers and brake discs are made with the Lego bricks.

When The Display Is Staged for The New McLaren’s LEGO?

The car manufacturer plans to display its Lego Senna supercar at all the events scheduled around the world throughout this year. However, there is just one confirmation from the company for a showing as of now and that will be in July this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

When this showing will be staged, the LEGO and McLaren fans – regardless of their age – will have the privilege to get a close look at their favorite LEGO McLaren. This will, in fact, be the very first McLaren of its kid that fans would be able to experience from inside throughout this year.

Furthermore, it’s been announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo as well where the LEGO fans are going to have this unique opportunity to actually live out the McLaren fantasy with latest downloadable content. Included in Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions expansion, the gaming enthusiasts will be able to fully enjoy this LEGO McLaren Senna as they’d be exploring a whole new LEGO world completing in-game challenges and races.

In Forza Horizon 4, the players will be exploring one of UK’s dazzling microcosm with dynamic weather, changing seasons, and the finest roads you could ever imagine. All the action will be in HDR and 4K. It was announced at the E3 last year and features McLaren Senna in the form of its cover car which you could also play in the game. However, it would be a non-brick version of the car.

Forza Horizon 4 LEGO Speed Champions was launched all over the world this June 13 on Windows 10 PCs, Xbox One, and the Xbox Game Pass. So, if you’re a fan of this new McLaren’s LEGO Senna and have always loved playing Forza Horizon 4, you should definitely get your hands at it to get the best of both worlds.

Is it going to be the last McLaren LEGO collaboration that we could see? You never know as the partnership between Danish toymaker and the popular car manufacturer may continue in the future to pamper fans with a range of similar surprises. For now, however, this McLaren LEGO Senna is the latest for LEGO lovers and they must interact with it at different showings throughout the year.

McLaren has revealed a new model: The Speedtail. The McLaren Speedtail is the next chapter in the brand’s Ultimate Series. The Speedtail achieves the highest maximum speed of any McLaren to date.

McLaren Automotive’s Chief Executive Officer, Mike Flewitt, explained, “McLaren has never built a vehicle like the Speedtail before. As our first ‘Hyper-GT’, the Speedtail is the ultimate McLaren road car; a fusion of art and science that combines an astonishing maximum speed with an iconic central-driving position and a truly pioneering approach to bespoke personalization.  A ground-breaking hybrid powertrain sits within a lightweight carbon fiber body reminiscent of sleek ‘streamliners’ that once set world speed records, while the luxurious three-seat cockpit offers a sublime combination of an incredible driving experience, unmatched individualism and innovative materials never seen before in a road-going vehicle.”

The new model has a tear-drop shaped cockpit and is exceptionally aerodynamic. The McLaren Speedtail has been built upon the bespoke McLaren Monocage carbon fiber structure for truly lightweight engineering.

According to McLaren, “Buyers who have secured a 600LT Coupé are now exploring the wide range of colors and options available using an advanced real-time configurator to complete their order in retailers – but anybody with internet access can build their own perfect ‘Longtail’ using McLaren’s online 2D configurator. The pioneering specification system allows you to view the 600LT in any of the 28 different body colors offered, three of which are newly introduced with the launch of the 600LT: Myan Orange, Chicane Effect (grey); and Luminaire (green). 14 of the paint colors are in an MSO Defined palette developed by McLaren Special Operations for the new ‘Longtail.’”

McLaren Automotive Chief Test Driver, Kenny Brack, added, “This is a great way to explore the specification of a car like the 600LT before finalizing your choices. You can see on screen what each paint color looks like in isolation, choose your wheel design and finish and then contrast the exterior look with any of the interior specifications that appeal, before adding optional features and equipment.”

The McLaren 720S GT3 is one of many show-stopping vehicles in McLaren’s lineup. The intense and powerful performance of the 720S GT3 is coupled with unparalleled racecar design.

“The McLaren 720S is such a multi-talented road car that we always knew honing its pure racing talents and making a GT3 car out of it would be an entirely natural process – and so it has been. While largely a bespoke machine, the GT3 car is still a McLaren 720S at its core. Developing a race car is about optimizing every component and the lightweight MonoCage II carbon fiber chassis is the perfect base for this,” said Dan Walmsley, Motorsport Director of McLaren Automotive.

McLaren is only creating 500 Senna models, a third of which will ship to North America. Where has the first one landed? In the hands of customer Michael Fux (an renowned car collector and founder of Comfort Revolution) in New York City.

“This is such a special car – designed and engineered to be the ultimate road-legal track car ever produced by McLaren. We know that owners can’t wait to get their cars on the circuit, and we’re eager for them to get behind the wheel,” said Tony Joseph, President, McLaren North America.

Merging refinement and supercar features, the McLaren 570S Spider provides a rush of exhilaration to any driver who sits behind the wheel. Quick, stunning and lightweight, the 8-liter twin-turbocharged McLaren V8 engine with a seven-speed, seamless-shift gearbox produces a class-leading 562 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. The iconic two-seater adds a wonderfully integrated and retractable hardtop that takes only a mere 15 seconds to open or close at a speed of 25 miles per hour.

“Maintaining the purity of the Sports Series’ form language was crucial when designing the 570S Spider and a retractable hardtop rather than a fabric roof was key to achieving this. The Spider has a purposeful, dramatic silhouette, roof up or down, but with the roof lowered beneath the tonneau deck the car also has a real sense of fun that perfectly captures and reflects the way it drives,” explained Rob Melville, Design Director of McLaren Automotive.

The 570S allows customers to choose from an array of three new exterior colors with the retractable roof finished either in the body color or in Dark Palladium Grey.
