McLaren 720S Deemed Most Beautiful Supercar
Recently, the McLaren 720S took home the winning title of ‘Most Beautiful Supercar of the Year’ for 2017 at the Festival Automobile International held annually in Paris. The Festival Automobile International in Paris is the “Fashion Week” of cars. McLaren’s 720S was praised for its stunning design and dedication to aerodynamic principles.
“The 720S being awarded the Most Beautiful Supercar of the Year is another great achievement and honor for everyone at McLaren Automotive. With a namesake derived from Formula1 driver Ayrton Senna, McLaren’s newest vehicle, the McLaren Senna, promises to be the most powerful and exotic road car available today. The 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 789 horsepower, and the handling is unparalleled.

The McLaren P1
There’s nothing average about the McLaren P1. This powerful model is quick, sleek, and absolutely brilliant. To achieve this objective, McLaren used all its 50 years of racing experience and success, especially in the fields of aerodynamics and lightweight carbon fiber technology.
The McLaren P1 brings straight-line performance and instant throttle response to life. It utilizes an innovative IPAS petrol-electric powertrain with a McLaren 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine and a single electric motor. There’s nothing more exhilarating than getting behind the wheel of the McLaren P1.
“We believe the McLaren P1 is the most exciting, capable, technologically advanced and most dynamically accomplished supercar ever made. It may not be the fastest car in the world in absolute top speed, but that was never our goal. McLaren’s design team worked to achieve ‘light and agile’ in the P1’s design. The car was created to be as compact and lightweight as possible; that’s exactly what was accomplished. There are only five main panels—the front clamshell, front bonnet, rear clamshell and the doors—all made from lightweight carbon fiber. The strong carbon construction means the panels can ‘multi-task’, acting both as aero-honed ducts and load-bearing supports. They are intricately shaped yet superbly finished, aided by their strong carbon construction. There is so much perfection in the P1.

The McLaren Spyder
McLaren is always growing in terms of creating better and faster motorcars. Recently, the brand introduced the new Spyder.The Spyder comes in three new colors: Curacao Blue, Sicilian Yellow and Vega Blue. The new 570S Spyder is the third body style in McLaren’s Sport Series, alongside the Coupe and GT. It is truly a magnificent build!
The power behind the revamped model is undeniably exquisite. The Spyder reaches 60mph in just a matter of 3.2 seconds, giving it a top speed of 204mph. Not only is the speed absolutely astonishing, but also the Spyder has a retractable hardtop that uses technology proven in the McLaren 650S and 675LT. McLaren Reveals A New Movie Clip
Telling the story of McLaren’s legendary founder, Bruce McLaren, is the forthcoming motion picture McLaren film. The movie, which uses a potent mix of interviews with Bruce’s colleagues, family, friends, and rivals painstakingly sourced archive footage and live-action reconstruction, promises to be both thrilling and moving.
“I think there are comparisons to be drawn between Bruce and stars like James Dean and Buddy Holly – incredibly talented young people who never lived to realize their true potential. Bruce was only 32 when he died, yet in that short period of time he achieved an enormous amount and built an incredible reputation for himself and the company. I think his life had everything that you look for in a great story and Bruce’s legacy will live on through this film,” says director Roger Donaldson.
The McLaren film will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and digital platforms on May 29th.
